Kitsilano Car-Free Block Parties Day 2009: Can we hit 50 this year??

In 2008, Kitsilano held its first-ever Car-Free Block Parties Day to an overwhelming response - 20 block parties! What an amazing day of community celebration it was.

This 2nd annual event will be held on Father's day, June 21st 2009. The neighbourhood will come together again with a bunch of simultaneous block parties! These parties will be as individual as the people who host them, and all will enjoy that car-free feeling when they get together with other neighbours and celebrate in the street.
